Doucette will focus his efforts on uniting the best practices of Alera Group firms across the nation in the areas of human resources, talent management, and organization effectiveness. He will implement unique human resources programs and policies that strengthen and support the national goals of Alera Group.

Previously the Vice President of Human Resources at NES Rentals Holdings, Doucette has more than 30 years of experience in the field of human resources. With a Ph.D. in Organization Development from Benedictine University, Doucette’s educational background has equipped him to build strong internal and external relationships in diverse organizational settings.

Alera Group Continues Rapid Growth, Completes Four More Acquisitions Across United States

DEERFIELD, IL (October 4, 2017) — Alera Group, a leading national employee benefits, property/casualty, risk management and wealth management firm, has completed four new acquisitions, all effective October 1, 2017. These acquisitions add more than 50 new employees to the Alera Group team, continuing to expand the national locations and resource. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Axis Benefit Consultants, located Westmont, IL, specializes in benefits administration, broker and advisory services, COBRA administration and state continuation, along with superior support to provide clients with tailored plans that meet their specific needs. Axis Benefit Consultants will join Alera Group through local firm GCG Financial.

Employer Concept Insurance Services, based in Irvine, CA, seeks to remove insurance-related burdens and administration to empower the client to do what they need to do. Employer Concept Insurance Services values quality service, efficiency and comprehensive market knowledge, leveraging these values to give each client a streamlined insurance experience. Employer Concept Insurance Services will join Alera Group through local firm Centennial.

Jeatran Associates, located in Menomonie, WI, offers employee benefits, individual insurance and HR consulting services to each of their clients. This firm focuses on providing affordable, effective coverage for organizations of all sizes throughout Wisconsin. Jeatran Associates will join Alera Group through local firm JA Counter.

Simpson McCrady Benefits LLC, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, specializes in providing customized solutions in the employee benefits industry. Their expertise in alternative risk transfer and group insurance captives has assisted their clientele in managing and navigating risk in an ever-changing marketplace. Simpson McCrady Benefits will join Alera Group through local firm Coury Health Services.
